Goal ideas look good – Broad, can encompass anything (Coursera, Meetup), high school completion online, connecting people to people – curate places where people can learn online together, reduce isolation.
Message: This is the direction of where education is going – you can personalize to fit your interests, respected as a form of self-education – independent learning, learning together is better than learning alone
Link to Seattle schools for their stuff – such as the Source and tutoring opportunities
Audience: Geographic area (neighborhoods where people are new, housing authority), parents of students (homework help for kids Khan Academy, curricula, math help), parents who never went to college or pursued higher learning
Video pointers on how to use the site – navigation, suggestions for a better user experience.
Role playing: navigating and asking questions, students who have taken an online course and talking about their experience. UW online student Top 5 things to expect, or from someone who teaches
Infographic: shows major points connecting to each other – a map that helps to move people through (breadcrumb thought), here’s where you start, here’s where you go and here’s where you will end up.
